    Diving Experience Summary
Hassan has been diving since 1986, and diving professionally since 1991. Since 1999, Diving and teaching divers have been his full-time job.

Over the years, Hassan has accumulated thousands of dives, with hundreds of staged decompression dives (some as early as 1991), including the use of advanced tools and techniques such as mixed gasses and DPVs (scooters). Among other things Hassan has explored many of the deep shipwrecks found in the Red Sea, including the british steamer SS Maidan, and American oil company ship Gulf Fleet No. 31. Hassan's latest diving-related passion is underwater imaging.

In summer 2006, Hassan reached one of his long-standing goals, that of being awarded GUE instructor status. Hassan considers himself fortunate to include among his mentors such well-known divers and instructors as GUE's own Richard Lundgren, Jarrod Jablonski, David Rhea, and Bob Sherwood.
